I am using Async Pro. 3.03 to implement the IR communication between
the IR in a laptop and an IR embedded device. This is a Delphi
application. I use TApdComPort for IR port. The communication between
the IR in my laptop and an IR embedded device works well if they close
together. But, if move the IR embedded device away, or turn it off,
the program in the laptop will be locked up. I also wrote a very
simple test program for this problem --- open the serial comport used
by IR when this program starts, then send few characters to the
comport (the IR device keeps off, only IR in the laptop is on). This
program is also locked up (Not responding on Window Task List). Any
idea? Thank you.
