Multiple faxes to same number - how?

I need to change a legacy program (apro 3.06, Delphi 5). At the moment
it reads a database and send out faxes as required but does not take
any notice of faxes going to the same number! There would be a saving
in time and costs if it did.

If I where to use the TApdSendFax.OnFaxNext event to send the next fax
(to the same number), I assume it will just be treated as two separate
faxes. Will someone please confirm this!
I could also 祖ombine' the faxes to make one 壮uper fax' and send
this. But if this fails half way through I would have to resend all,
and obviously, I don't want to do this.
I imagine this is not unique problem and I would be grateful for the
recommended way of doing this task.
