Upgrading to 2.1 from 2.0

What do I need to be aware of when upgrading to the new 2.1 release from a current 2.0 application? This is a highly utilized application (internal network only) and I don't want to get hit with any gotcha's. I have tried googling and checked out the docs and all I saw was the command to run to do the upgrade. If its that safe fantastic but before running it I wanted to double check.

I wouldn't be that optimistic. While the changes probably are manageable, you
should of course *not* run this on production, but instead first create a test-
environment with TG21 and see if thinks work out. It would be great if you'd
report back on any issues you had - because thus we can try & come up with
some sort of upgrade documentation. Of course if it works without a hitch,
that'd be reporting worthy as well ;)

The only requirement that TG places on you for the upgrade is to add the rendered json to your list of renderers (and then only if you are using json). However, it's possible you will upgrade other packages, and those packages could place problems on you.

Please, follow Diez's advice, and do the upgrade in a test environment, and work your way through your testing plan. Make sure it works before you deploy.
