If you're talking about the quickstart templates, I think there is a
--minimal option which creates a much simpler project.

The cheat sheet is very helpful, thanks Alessandro!

Actually the comment really surprises me as the new quickstart has a
lot less files than the old one.
So should be less noise and files to delete.

Comparing the various quickstart on html, css, images and javascript
files the numbers are:
2.1 quickstart -> 37 files
2.1 --minimal quickstart -> 20 files
2.2 quickstart -> 19 files

As you can see the new quickstart has even less files that the old one
in minimal mode, and this is the reason why the --minimal option also
got removed in 2.2

I just 3 month use Turbogear. Turbogear 2.1 template for me much easier to edit... May be I don't understand something. I am editing CSS files with my hands and my mind, as I can, not using editors pages or something like this. It better for me. I was scared, when so all those mountains of  code (I am talking about CSS files only), which I not saw in Turbogear 2.1. For me more simple work with Turbogear 2.1... I am more than year working in web-development, may be I don't understand something.

Alessandro: Would you have any issues with my uploading these two PDFs right onto the turbogears.org server?

Feel free to upload them on the turbogears.org server, I didn't do it
just because I didn't have an account.

Thanks, Alessandro. I've uploaded them now, and changed the docs page to point to them on the main server.

The bootstrap.css file is of course quite huge, since it is a whole css framework (http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/). You should probably better not edit this css file but instead create your own one and put your modifications there.
The bootstrap documentation can be quite helpful to identify objects/styles that you might want to use!
