The tutorials and the docs are a great place to start.

I know of two off hand:

virt_web: https://fedorahosted.org/virt_web/
http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/virt_web/

This uses a message bus in addition to a db so there's some stuff in there
that isn't standard web app but it's pretty simple otherwise.

And moksha: https://fedorahosted.org/moksha
http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/moksha

Moksha this is a framework for building other stuff like civx.us and
fedoracommunity (those are both open source as well). So it might be a bit
harder to use as an example of TG2 stuff.

I'm a few days late on this thread, but I figured I'd chime in with a
little 'me too!'

An open source Audio/Video Podcasting/CMS web app recently released
by the company I work with. I've been working on MediaCore for almost
a year now.
It's built to run on the official release of TG2.0.3. It also
includes examples of how to use Routes with TG2.0 (which is alluded
to in the TG2.0 docs, but not fully implemented in TG as of 2.0.3).

Dakila,

So sorry for leaving you hanging for two weeks. My schedule gets
pretty busy, between classes, job, and open source work.

I'm afraid I get a 502 error when I follow the link to the complete
error.

From your synopsis, I think the issue is your turbogears
installation. It looks like it's not complete.

How did you install TG2?

This fellow had a similar problem:
