I *think* I replied to a very similar message last night, but can't find the proof that I did. Anyway, if you're getting errors, show us the errors. We'll help you figure out what they mean and what went wrong.

When installing. I encountered a problem after I finished all process of installing TurboGear2 on my OS X 10.8.2. Using Python2.7, TurboGear2.2.0

The installing process was based on tutorial of official website:http://www.turbogears.org/2.2/docs/main/DownloadInstall.html

Problem describing:

1. Follow the tutorial, installation went smoothly until "nosetests" showed 10 ERRORs, most of them are about sqlalchemy.

2. Then, "paster setup-app development.ini" also show error messages as below:

3. But I command "paster serve development.ini" in terminal, the server still successfully work.

I think there're some problems, but I found no answers. Do anyone have any idea about this?

Thanks a lot!

Your version of sqlalchemy-migrate seems to expect a different version of sqlalchemy than you have installed!
Please post, what version of SQLAlchemy you have installed right now.
(Or try reinstalling the tg-approved version by something like easy_install -i http://tg.gy/current -U sqlalchemy).

to TurboGears .
It got recently released SQAlchemy 0.8 which is not compatible anymore with sqlalchemy-migrate.
To solve the issue you must disable migrations when quickstarting the application (--disable-migrations to paster quickstart) or install SQLAlchemy 0.7.9

Keep in mind that you choose to disable migrations and go on with SQLA0.8 then the turbogears admin won't work due also to incompatibilities between SQLA0.8 and Sprox that will be resolved in the upcoming release of sprox.
