Hi all,

Does anyone have the latest binary available for download anywhere apart from sourceforge? Tunnelblick offered to update itself yesterday, but presumably at the same time the sourceforge site was dying, and now Tunnelblick is unrunnable, and I can't reinstall since I don't have a place to download it. I rely on Tunnelblick on a daily basis, and so this is kind of an emergency.

Please someone post an alternative download location for the latest release.

Thanks.

You should be able to use Tunnelblick – I've had no problems with failed updates (other than that they failed, of course!).

When you clicked to update, should have gotten an "Update Error" message that the update was improperly signed. Click "Cancel Update" and you should be OK. Tunnelblick should still be running, but if you quit it just relaunch it (double-click the Tunnelblick icon in Applications).

If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer and then relaunching. (But that should not be necessary.)

Softpedia has some working links available[1]. Just select one of the "Softpedia Secure Download" mirrors. I downloaded version 3.5.3 and confirmed that the SHA1 (0620ac4daf81b356e205faf379d56bbfa8fc6425) matches.

Great - the softpedia download worked, thank you.

I don't know quite how the update failed, but it did - when I looked at Tunnelblick app in finder, it showed 104 bytes, and opening it via show contents, the folder structure was there, but almost no files.

I would second the call to abandon Sourceforge - there are other good reasons to do it apart from this latest debacle.

Cheers, Paul.

As the news item about our recent move away from Google Code mentions, the source code and issues will be moving from Google Code soon. The binaries were scheduled to move last, but that may be accelerated.

Downloads are now again available from the Tunnelblick website. They are now hosted by GitHub. Goodbye, SourceForge!
