Total amateur here. Just installed tunnelblick today on my Mac in order to connect to VPN Server on my new Synology NAS.  The good news is I have been able to connect to the NAS using tunnelblick via OpenVPN/VPN Server.  However, I have searched all over on how I access the NAS folders with my files.  I cannot locate any instructions on how to map to my folders once connected to the NAS via tunnelblick.  Any help or pointers in the right direction appreciated.

Sorry, but I think you'll have to get help from Synology documentation and tech support. You're looking for instructions to mount the folders as volumes, I think.

It depends on how you connect to your NAS unit.

Tunnelblick will connect the network, but you need to figure out how to connect to the NAS unit.

Are you using AFS, Samba...etc and then go from there.  You must be able to connect to the NAS unit using the ip address over the VPN.
