Tunnelblick won't open

Hi all,
I'm running macOS 15.5 and encountering a persistent issue when trying to install the latest version of Tunnelblick. The error I receive is:
"Tunnelblick: The installation or repair took too long or failed. Try again."What I've Tried:
Deleted the Tunnelblick app.
Removed all related folders from:
/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick
~/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick
and attempted a fresh install.
Unfortunately, the error persists.
Any ideas?

If there is an alias or symbolic link named Tunnelblick.app in /Applications, drag it to the Trash, then try installing Tunnelblick again.

If that doesn't work, please post the contents of /Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick/tunnelblick-installer-log.txt.

Hi there isn't any symbolic link named Tunnelblick.app. 
Here is the content of the log file:

What happens if you ignore the error and just launch Tunnelblick in /Applications?

Is your computer "managed" at all? For example, is it a company computer?

Yes, the laptop is managed with Kandji

The most likely explanation is that Kandji is installing Tunnelblick incorrectly.

Other management programs have had (some) similar problems; usually the script used to install Tunnelblick is faulty.

Contact Kandji and have them fix their script.

I'm not surprised that doesn't work to install Tunnelblick "outside of Kandji" when Kandji is installed.

Why aren't you using Kandji's Tunnelblick installer?

Because also with Kandji we still get the same error.

Tunnelblick works with other application management systems. If Kandji's installer for Tunnelblick doesn't work, complain to Kandji – you're presumably paying them for a product that works.
