Reinstall 8.0 from the disk image (again, sorry). When you get the "Tunnelblick will quit…" message, click "OK", verify that the two Tunnelblick login items are enabled, and
wait a couple of minutes. After waiting, try launching Tunnelblick by double-clicking it in a Finder window showing /Applications, or by searching for it with Command-space, launching it from a Dock icon, or whatever method you would usually use.
If you get the same message again, restart your computer, wait several minutes, and then try to launch Tunnelblick again.
If that doesn't work, restart your computer in
Safe Mode, then restart it again normally, then
after waiting, try to launch Tunnelblick again.
