Very slow connection speed to OPENVPN server using TunnelBlick client

I want to transfer a big 14Gb file to my home network. I checked through the post before posting this. Attached is my diag.

Does OpenVPN  simple not supporting transfer of big files? I also tried increasing the MTU size.

yes, it turned out, the VPN server had a very weak hardware (Firewalla Blue), so I will replace it with a more powerful hardware.
