"Set DNS/WINS" changes automatically

Hi there,

Recently a lot of our users are experiencing an issue where "Set DNS/WINS" changing from "set nameserver" to "Do not set nameserver." These users are on Mac OSx (mojave, catalina, big sur). We've tried changing the settings manually, wiping out the plist to correct the settings, and making sure tunnelblick is disconnected from vpn's before turning off machines, and various other items.
