I got some configuration data files from my company (they use Windows, might that be a problem?) and can create a new Entry without problems.
But when a want to connect, it says: Tunnelblick konnte OpenVPN nicht starten, um Leere Tunnelblick-VPN-Konfiguration zu verbinden. Für Details sehen Sie bitte in das VPN Details… Fenster
Meaning, "Tunnelblick couldn't start OpenVPN  to connect with Leere Tunnelblick-VPN-Konfiguration. For further details, look at the window VPN Details..."

Does anybody have an Idea what that could mean? I also tried "Viscosity", with exactly the same problem. I am really becoming desperate...

Please try the following:

Click the Tunnelblick icon and then on "VPN Details…". Then click on the "Log" tab, then click to select the configuration, the click "Connect". After the connection fails click "OK" to dismiss the error message, and click "Copy Diagnostic Info to Clipboard" button. The past the diagnostic info into a reply.

Please install Tunnelblick 3.4beta10 and try again; you are missing a lot of the diagnostic info. (If you get an error message about an invalid signature, just ignore it for the purposes of getting this problem solved.)

After updating, try to re-install your configuration. 3.4beta10 does additional checking of configurations that earlier versions don't.

And then try what I said earlier, to post the diagnostic info, which will include the configuration file.

I tried to do so, uninstalled TB, reinstalled 3.10.

Now, if I want to start the program by clicking on the newly prepared .tblk File, nothing happens...
Any idea?

Install 3.4beta10 by double-clicking the Tunnelblick icon in the disk image, if that isn't what you have already done.

Try launching Tunnelblick by double-clicking it in a Finder window showing /Applications.

Then double-click the .tblk.

Question: Does the newly-prepared .tblk have the "Tunnelblick VPN Configuration" icon? It should look like this:

That's exactly what I did. Funny at all: I had the same problems yesterday with my MacBook, but though that could be, due to improper deinstallation...

OK. Try Tunnelblick 3.4beta08 from the Older Releases page.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I already have the Console log from your earlier posts. I need the "Diagnostic Info"; specifically the OpenVPN configuration file.

You can get that from "Copy Diagnostic Info to Clipboard".

Yes. The problem appears to be the line
register-dns
"register-dns" is listed as a OpenVPN "Windows-Specific Options". Perhaps OpenVPN is complaining because you are not using Windows. Tunnelblick takes care of doing what this option is supposed to do (clear the DNS cache) under most circumstances.

So try removing that line from the configuration file, or prefixing it with a # to turn it into a comment.
