I am using the same credentials for the servers that i've set up in tunnelblick as my VPN provider provides a number of servers.
I have set tunnelblick to use same credentials for every config, but still it prompts for my credentials everytime i try to connect to another server.

How can I solve this? Thanks.

If you are using a recent version of Tunnelblick and have "All configurations use Common credentials" checked on the "VPN Credentials" tab of the "Advanced" settings page, it should work.

Just to double-check, is the problem:
  • That the first time you connect to a server you are asked for credentials, but after that it connects to that server without asking for credentials;
    or
  • That it asks for credentials each time you connect to each server?

The problem I ran into was that everytime i connect to a new server that I have not connected before it asks for my credentials. However, the issue is resolved after i restarted tunnelblick. Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know. Restarting Tunnelblick shouldn't be necessary, so I'll take a look to see if there's a bug that causes that.

I can confirm that this still appears to be an issue.
Tunnelblick 3.5.4 (build 4270.4395) on Mac OS X 10.9.5 (13F1112)

The steps involved in my situation appear to be:
1) installed and launched Tunnelblick
2) added a handful of configurations from my VPN service
3) went straight into VPN Details… > Advanced > VPN Credentials > [X] All configurations use Common credentials
4) opened Mac Keychain Access app, applied 'tunnel' filter
5) connected to first Tunnelblick configuration, was prompted for credentials (dialog says it's using Common credentials), saved to Keychain
6) noticed that a server specific credentials entry was created in Keychain Access
7) disconnected and connected to second configuration
8) again prompted for credentials, saved to Keychain, another server specific entry was created
9) (read this post…) disconnected and quit Tunnelblick then launched it again
10) connected to first configuration again, prompted for credentials again, saved to Keychain again
11) this time noticed that the Tunnelblick-Auth-Group-Common entry was created **SUCCESS**

Thanks for your very detailed post.

From the Release Notes for Tunnelblick 3.6beta09:
  • Fixes a problem when “All configurations use Common credentials” is changed; Tunnelblick will no longer ask for each configuration’s credentials until it is relaunched.
I believe that is the problem you described.

Gah! Didn't even occur to me to check the beta build.
Cheers.
