Hello, maybe someone can help with this? I've looked up all documentation and googled to no avail, but could not really find anything related :-/

I tried resetting the warning for the deprecated options, but log does not show anything.

Running OpenVPN on El Capitan, it connects ok, it´s just TunnelBlick that does not start.

Thanks in advance!!

2021-01-19 20:12:03.686961 Tunnelblick[12436] The OpenVPN log contains the following message:

"Unrecognized option or missing or extra parameter(s)".

This error means that an option that is contained in the OpenVPN configuration file or was "pushed" by the OpenVPN server:

• has been misspelled,

• has missing or extra arguments, or

• is not implemented by the version of OpenVPN which is being used for this configuration. It may be a new option that is not implemented in an old version of OpenVPN, or an old option that has been removed in a new version of OpenVPN. You can choose what version of OpenVPN to use with this configuration in the "Settings" tab of the "Configurations" panel of Tunnelblick's "VPN Details" window.

See the VPN log in the "Log" tab of the "Configurations" panel of Tunnelblick's "VPN Details" window for details.

I think you were looking in the wrong log. As it says, "See the VPN log in the "Log" tab of the "Configurations" panel of Tunnelblick's "VPN Details" window for details." Not the Console Log, which is what you appear to have posted.

If that doesn't help, please post the diagnostic info obtained by following the instructions at Read Before You Post (https://tunnelblick.net/cBeforeYouPost.html).

Thank you so much! I was indeed looking in the wrong log. VPN Details log shows very clear and straightforward info, and was able to identify the error (simple as config file being setup for win32). I hope this any future users getting this error.

I really appreciate you replying so quick and helping me understand the issue. Have a nice day!
