Tungsten Fabric Workshop at the OpenStack PTG
The Tungsten Fabric community has joined the OpenStack PTG agenda in Denver on September 11.
PTG registrants interested in SDN are invited to participate in the Tungsten Fabric sessions on Tuesday, September 11, in the Telluride B room:
10am-1:00 pm – Networking-OpenContrail
Networking-OpenContrail is the OpenStack Neutron ML2 driver to integrate TF to OpenStack. It is designed to eventually replace the old monolithic driver. This session will provide an update on the project and discuss the next steps.
1:00-2:00 -- Break for Lunch
2:00-3:00 – Tungsten Fabric Project Overview and Community Introduction
Come to this session to learn how users are deploying Tungsten Fabric for load balancing, HA, service chaining and analytics/orchestration. This session will lay out how users can quickly get going with Tungsten Fabric, using software-driven networking and policy management to operate in a multi-cloud environment. If you’re interested in networking for private clouds running OpenStack, Kubernetes, Mesos, and VMware that also rely on services from AWS or Google, this session is for you!
3:00-5:00 - Tungsten Fabric Developers Boot Camp. This session will comprise a Tungsten Fabric architecture overview, developer workflow, how to get your patches into Gerrit, and building and testing Tungsten Fabric for OpenStack and Kubernetes
Please let us know if you’re coming (RSVP here). If you have questions about the Tungsten Fabric sessions, you may contact Greg Elkinbard, Tungsten Fabric Community Manager, gelki...@juniper.net.
