Sorry for the late response, I've been a bit busy and nearly forget about this small mod.. :) As you have surely noticed, megaupload has been taken offline, and since (surprisingly) someone asked to reupload the game, im uploading it on mediafire right now. I'll post the link here when it's done. Again, i stopped working on this, and the game is still in the old version (1.19). It's just a bunch of maps and skins which resemble the resident evil universe, both games and movies; in fact, i just modified some cfg to make the zombies walk slower, and i made them a bit tougher to balance the difficulty. Also, the mod is meant to be played humans vs bot ai, where the ai controls the zombie team. Here comes another problem: i managed to remove the auto team balance, but the players have to configure manually the number of zombies in the other team, and when a round ends, the teams get automatically balanced (i dont know how to remove this) so the host has to hit the ESC button, click on bots, then on "remove all", and then fill again the terrorist (zombies) team, that's a bit annoying. :( Last thing, i'd be really happy if you'd like to continue this project, since i think it has a good base idea. I had some ideas which i couldn't add, for example levels, skills, special B.O.W. and bosses. If someone with good coding skills could add them, it would be awesome. Thank you for your patience, I'm still hosting the hamachi room, if someone would like to play some zombie survival :) Sorry again for the (really) late response, and don't take this mod too seriously, think of it as just a simple Resident Evil fangame. :)

2004. It was the year when millions of players assumed the role of rookie cop-turned-secret agent Leon S. Kennedy as he traveled to rural Spain in pursuit of Ashley Graham, the president's missing daughter. A watershed moment in gaming, Resident Evil 4 was a reinvention of both its series and its genre - not to mention one hell of a party.

More importantly, Leon had amazing hair. Oh, and he flipped over lasers. For many, he entered the hallowed halls of video game heartthrobs in the same way he crashed through two-story windows: suddenly and with swag.

But we all know Leon's story. What about Ashley's? For the players of Resident Evil 4, she is, at best, an objective; at worst, a liability. A human cog in a well-oiled gameplay machine. But what if she was more than that? What if she was an interesting person, thrust into a crazy world with crazier men who run the gamut from hottie to hellspawn? How would she narrate this nightmare and who would she actually fall for?

Hey there, sorry for the trouble! I'll be honest, I can't offer much guidance on macOS because I've never been able to test in that environment. Are you trying to run the downloaded package or the browser version on macOS (in something like Safari)?

Are you having some kind of problem with booting the game? We appreciate if you donated, but the game is free and should be functional, so we would appreciate if you not actively discourage people from playing it. I'll try to advise you in order to get it working.

This game is amazing, but saving seems to be bugged out for me. Also, just had a crash after Saddler put Ashley in her super restful sleep chamber. Playing on Windows, latest edition, Chapter preloading, and had legit played like fifteen chapters or more because I've been BINGING this brilliance

There are so many assets in the game that doing chapter preloading and playing for a long time can basically cause a memory overflow. I've yet to figure out how to make the engine purge memory mid-game to solve this problem, but if you restart with episode preloading (use Episode Select as needed), then you should be able to continue. There is also a way to manually purge the memory - I can link you to it on our discord if you hop over there.

Hi!! Just a question,, I was at the part where I think I got friendzoned (oops) by leon and suddenly my game crashed.. is that normal? It's most probably not but hey maybe it means to tell me that I suck? LMAO great game though!! I'm just a bit bummed that I got a bad ending AND the game just kicks me out at the same time.

We're so sorry to hear that happened to you! No, that is definitely not intentional (even if it is funny lol). Have you tried booting the game fresh and using Episode Select to jump back to that scene and trying again? That often resolves a lot of issues. Otherwise, we'll need to investigate, in which case I need to know:

Happy to say I've been removed from the marriage pool for 15 years now, but appreciate the offer lol. We're glad you loved the game so well! We'll consider it a Christmas gift exchange: we give you "romanceable" Leon S. Kennedy, you give us your undying gratitude. :)

It's pretty fun and feels kind of nostalgic to say that i played this game for the first time two years ago, and it has never left my mind since that day. Thank you so much for making such a fun & great game, it'll be forever one of my favorites

aw, thank you for coming back to share such kind words! we're very happy to know our little parody is living rent free in your head lol. also depressed knowing that it's already been two years since the full release, but we'll leave that aside.

This is seriously one of the best things I've ever seen my friends and I are streaming it in discord and we're just like. This is canon this is my canon. I want 500 of these. you deserve 10 million dollars. thanks.

if an appreciative billionaire wants to skyrocket us into a new tax bracket, we certainly won't say no lol. but in lieu of that, we're happy that it's giving you and your friends such a good time together. enjoy it because nobody's probably be crazy enough to go through this trouble again.

being someone who loves the og re4 & had recently completed the remake, i found this to scratch my itch on the game but give it a new & refreshing perspective! the amount of times i thought i could predict what was going to happen & ended up being completely wrong was honestly an awesome experience!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback and review! I haven't done the best job of promoting the game if people are only discovering it via random image searches lol, but I'm glad for your happy accident! It took four years to really put the game together, but knowing it kept you on your toes makes the struggle worthwhile. I'll check out your review when I have some time, but thanks for pushing more people to play it! Be sure to leave a rating if you have a minute!

Masterpiece! You legend. It's all incredibly well done, my god. I'm not even done yet, but this game has me laughing out loud so much dude. Recently got to the Ashley "Violent Reaction." Bless you for that, that's gotta be my favorite moment so far. Can't even fathom the amount of work it took to put all of this together. Love, love, LOVE how this game forces you to think about the events of the game from Ashley's perspective since we don't get much from her in the OG RE4 at all

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're really happy to know you're having a great time! Glad you enjoyed our little shout-out to RE4 VR lol. Pace out your funny bone, because you're only around Episode 10 of 42 and I dare say it gets better as it goes. We didn't spend four years on this game not to throw in some surprises! ;)

It is basically a play-by-play of the original game from Ashley's perspective which is simultaneously trying to explain all the "videogame-isms" of the plot, witticisms every textbox, sympathy for Ashley's position and an actual look at her inner character (since the game itself never let you see much of her internal voice), references galore (resident evil and videogames in general), and of course major thirsting. There's a joke almost every line, to the point that for every 1 that doesn't land 5 more do. In terms of branching content, there is enough to justify 2 full-ish playthroughs (second one can skip to the first branching point). The convenient episode select system allows you to skip to Luis' and the solo endings quite easily so I would recommend playing Leon's route first.

I still can't quite believe the level of work it would have taken to make the game feel practically like you're playing the original game. It's clear it would only have been possible with the engine chosen - the amount of video/gif backgrounds, audio files, models extracted, rigged, edited, and photoshopped is overwhelming. There is also plenty of original art assets made for the game as well. Unfortunately this does mean that the game occasionally chugs a little attempting to load such large assets, but as long as you're patient and don't try to click too fast through it, it's not a major issue. The UI can also be a little clunky, but it doesn't ruin the experience.

Favorite moments: Meeting Leon and his barrel blast addiction; Ashley's "meditations" and dreams; meeting Luis and Ashley's "Violent Reaction"; all of Ashley's alter egos but special shout outs to Trashley, Slashley, and Smashley; Ashley Graham Ace Attorney, Ashley trying to mind manipulate Leon to let her do something to him (I laughed for like 10 minutes over it), everytime heavy metal played in the background, Saddleon, and various moments in the last few episodes I do not want to spoil because they are utterly glorious. TL;DR: 100% worth playing. Obviously, you'll get a lot more out of it if you've played the original Re4 (or at least know the plot) or resident evil games in general; but I think this game would be fun for pretty much anyone who enjoys videogames or otome games. It's that good.
