is it possible for you to share your login workflow?
Also in the password type use a trim.
You can for debug purpose add a messagebox/write line to see what value you have in your password variable
Invoking the workflow should not result in the password being entered in a wrong way.
However if you will debug your code/or add a writeline activity after the input box you will be able to see the password that is being captured in the variable that you are trying to type into. If the value is correct and still you see the value typed is incorrect then let us know.
@SSJCalzana
Use Get Password activity, enter password into password property .
Password property will show password in encrypted format.
Create one string variable and assign that to result property. It will store the password.
Use type into activity and pass that variable into type into activity.
Hi,
I have import my vault from LastPass and one of its feature is Wifi passwords where I can easily fill it on my phone, etc.
After import the vault into Bitwarden, the Wifi passwords becomes a secure notes and I lost the ability to copy the password from the vault.
Is there a way to convert the Secure notes into a Login for example?
Thanks
I just downloaded an app & tried to create an account for the app, but when I go to use Password Manager to create a password for it, I enter my Master Password but then I have to log into my Bitdefender account to get Password Manager to open!
But no......to access your "Master Password" you have to be logged in to your Bitdefender account which means you need to remember that password as well. So good thing I can open a browser, go to saved passwords, copy my Bitdefender account password & use it to open Bitdefender Password Manager!
Oh, while I'm here. Why do you have a "Feedback" link on the Password Manager app that doesn't let you provide feedback? It allows you to ask a question & spend hours wasting time looking for a solution...which is not my idea of providing feedback.
Password Manager comes as an extension also called add-on that can be quickly added to your browser. Currently, it supports the following desktop browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.
When you log in, you can the tick the Remember me box. Also, to keep Password Manager from opening a new tab, once logged in, on the left hand side -> Settings/General and check the box, "Disable login tab at startup" and see if those settings help.
Hi @Alexandru_BD, thanks for that. Password Manager seems to be working on both my PC & Android mobile (currently a Samsung) most of the time, but occasionally on my mobile it wants me to log into my BD Central account to open the app rather than using my Master Password. So I have to look up my BD Central login details in my browser saved passwords to use it, which I think makes it somewhat redundant, not to mention very frustrating.
Maybe it only happens when I use Bitdefender to optimise my PC & it signs me out of everything as part of the optimization process, & I have to log back in to a lot of my accounts using 2FA etc., etc., but I haven't actually tested it to see if this causes the issue or not.
Firstly, how would I see if this is still up-to-date, I suspect it was the one I got when I first installed Password Manager as a trial version. I noticed it says if you make a new Master Password you get sent a new recovery key. But, can you just download an updated Password Manager recovery key without changing my Master Password? The later would be more convenient if it's possible. I haven't actually changed my Master Password since installing it as a trial version, so maybe that one still works?
I guess I should change my Master Password occasionally, like everything else these days. But, I'd better pull out the hidden "little black book of passwords" to record that one...the holes in the sieve in my memory are getting bigger by the day it seems...lol. I seem to be quoting Homer a lot these days....Simpson that is..."doh!"...lol again.
Yes, the optimization process on the PC cleans your browsers and you have to log in again. Bitdefender itself activates the process to clean cookies from browsers, it does not have its own engines and from there the logged in sessions disappear.

On my Snow Leopard Mac, I can't seem to paste into a password field on login pages to Apple sites, (developer.apple.com for example). I thought is was a browser issue but it's happening with Safari, Chrome and Firefox so it must be the System. I assume this is somebody's idea of a security feature, though I fail to see the logic and it's very annoying.
I just had this problem with Firefox 33 on Costco's site. I disabled javascript with NoScript and was able to paste (cmd-v) my password and log in. BUT when on the page for a product whose price I wanted to see, it acted like I was not logged in even though I enabled all javascript. When I clicked 'Sign in to Buy Now', it just took me to my account page.
On to Safari 6.2. I was able, no problem, to right-click-->Paste into the password field (cmd-v did not work). This time I could see the price and the tell-tale 'Sign Out', indicating that I was signed in. Simple solution.
Password managers typically generate strong passwords for users, store them securely, and then automatically paste theminto password fields whenever users need to log in. This approach is generallymore secure than forcing users to type in passwords that are short enoughto remember.

If you have any credit cards, addresses, or other information saved in Safari, copy them manually into 1Password. Open 1Password on your computer or mobile device and click thebutton to add items.
Important: You can only import passwords in the .csv file format to Google Password Manager. To export passwords as a .csv file from a non-Google app, refer to that app's documentation.
Tip: You can import 3,000 passwords at a time. If you must import more than 3,000 passwords, split them into multiple .csv files and import the files separately. You can store up to 10,000 passwords in your Google Account.
My daily drivers are my Windows laptop, Windows desktop, and an iPhone. I'm signed into the laptop fine. I changed my master password a couple days ago, and now cannot sign into 1Pass on my desktop. I know I'm using the right password. Does anyone have any insight into what may be going on here?
Make sure you enter your old password at least once in 1Password for Windows on your desktop computer to unlock it. Then click the red authentication error banner and sign in with your new Master Password. From that point on you can unlock 1Password for Windows with the new password :+1:
Either of them are sufficient alone, but I recommend using both: without the Chrome extension, 1Password won't be able to fill credentials on websites for you and you will have to copy paste them instead, and without the desktop app you won't have access to some of the features. If you install both of them, you can use one or the other when necessary.
I've got myself into a bit of a pickle and could really use your collective wisdom. I've been locked out of my Windows 10 computer (yeah, I know, should've written down the password) and I'm scratching my head on how to get back in. Has anyone here been through this and managed to reset their password without being able to log in?
I've seen a few methods online involving bootable USB drives and using command prompts, but I'm not super tech-savvy and a bit hesitant to dive into something that seems so complex. I'm looking for a more straightforward, beginner-friendly way to reset my password and get back to my files.
[Edit] A few folks asked me if the problem was solved? Yes. The password was reset with the help of Passcue Windows Password Recovery software. Thanks Jack888 for the recommendation!
Once, I also encountered a situation where I forgot Windows 10 password of local account. I was really a little panicked at that time. After all, all the important files were in that account. I remember that I really didn't want to use those complicated technical means at that time, and wondered if there was a simple way to solve it.
So, I saw a "Reset Password" link on the login screen. Although I hadn't noticed it before, I decided to click it this time. After clicking it, the system prompted me to answer the security questions I had set before. I was quite glad that I didn't fill in some random answers at that time. The question was the name of my elementary school. I remembered that I set the name of my alma mater and answered it without hesitation. Then the system actually let me enter the interface for setting a new password.
