Maybe you want to try writing one too?
A short one, like a small script.
It is like hacking in ACTOR LISP,
think of it as a distributed Logic Program.
You can adopt whatever writing style fits you,
even bare code in a punk language is fine.

punk languages: Scheme, C; python and js are ok too, but in moderation :p
