Few thoughts from me,
0: 49 - low note cant be heard in her voice
1:22 - was the fading of 'to me' intentional? sounds a bit blunt?
2:55 - ...everytime... a bit flat?
the ends feels quite stagnant for a long time (thought there were more vocals towards the end :P) - listened to the earlier version and can see why you took the end off! Maybe she needs to re-record?
Also agree with mes's tempo pull, i think her intent of having an 'all together' was better pronounced in draft 2
Also your acoustic guitar strumming (which I quite like!) is more obvious in draft compared to draft 3 - the vocal thickening seems to drown it a bit. Probably because of the volume Saveeta would've sung (i.e. quite softly), the noise signal appears to be eventuated when any vocal effects are added. Spoke to Malinda last week about loudness is important when picking up electric guitars through amps (apparently a lot of guitarists are deaf mainly cos they record at extremely high volumes! - only logical sense is that a noise signal makes a smaller impact on a larger amplitude wave - hence loudness helps!) and think the same applies for vocals if I am making any sense. Lets discuss this about recording tips when we meet :)
Mescik - not the first time I am hearing the track but great job with the piano at the start !
Exciting stuff - looking forward to Saturday meeting! Hate working with computers! :P
