Hi All,

I am laying a foundation for speedy theme development using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and automating the build/test with Grunt.js.

When I develop locally, I have automatic CSS/JS compilation/minification etc., auto-browser-refresh on save, and my choice of editor, but no content, just the tags like {Title}:
When I develop on AWS, I have automatic CSS/JS compilation/minification etc., the content from my blog, but no browser refresh and EMACS, which I find slower for this work than other editors.

One solution was to use a text editor called Coda, which has SFTP support to quickly upload to AWS on save, and let the node+grunt auto-build on save, but still no auto-refresh.

Is it possible to develop locally while calling in my blog content from tumblr?
Is it possible to develop on AWS with auto-refresh?
Is anyone else doing a similar stack for making themes?

John
