curl (command line, not PHP) and OAuth

Is it still going to be possible to post using curl(1) in API v2, and if so, how?

Every search I try turns up results which are either old and referring to API v1 or talking about using curl with PHP which is not what I am talking about.

I don't see why not. However, it will require a separate authentication request to obtain the token and token secret first. Also, because of the way OAuth works, it seems a bit impractical. Depending on what your goal is, you may want to look for a different solution.
