Access a password protected tumblr via API

Just looking for a way to access a password protected tumblr blog via API ...

The response I have is now:

{"meta":{"status":404,"msg":"Not Found"},"response":[]}

The doc is not very expensive on that ...

Accessing a password-protected blog should "just work" now thanks to recent improvements to the API. Are you sure you are fully and correctly OAuth authenticated before you make the request?

Make sure that you are also a member of the private blog. You cannot see blogs that you (the user) are not a member of.
