Any ETA on API Version 1 deprecation?

Hello I have a client that's been using Version 1 of the API and was wondering if there were planned deprecation for V1 soon.

Might as well know in advance if there is, as I could not find it in the API docs page.

also if there is none, yet... Will newer endpoints work automatically?

Hey,

Deprecation of V1 most definitely is planned, but we will be giving you a couple weeks of heads up time. Documentation is still up, it's at the top of the new docs and says "For old documentation go here" (http://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/api/v1)

No. Newer endpoints are not backwards compatible with the old API.
