It's a new season - how do I move the gymnasts up a level?

Hi,

I loved using TT for the 2010/2011 season. Now it is 2011/2012 and
most of our team is moving up a level. How do I change the gymnasts
level for this season without modifying last season's results? Do I
have to recreate the team under a new team name and reenter all of
their names and info?

Please advise.

Thanks,

JW

Hi,
You can simply change each gymnast's level and then start scoring a new meet.  The old scores/meets/seasons will be preserved at the original levels, and newly entered scores are recorded at the new levels.

Hi Matt,

It worked beautifully, thanks. I had thought of that, but I got just
a bit paranoid about losing last year's info. Meanwhile, our meet
season started over the weekend and I was looking at the previous
year's results before the meet began. Then, as the results started
rolling in I enterd the data. Fortunately, some of the new team
members were up first because I forgot to select this year's meet and
was entering the new data into last year's meet!!! So much for being
paranoid about losing data, right!?!

So, I had this thought - can you add a feature that locks a meet so no
new data can be added (unless you subsequently unlock it, of course)?

Thanks,

--Jeff
