There are some broken links in the help system. For example lqg2stan and lqr have missing help files. The h_inf routine has a help file but the link to it from the lqg help page is dead (as are the lqr, lqe and lqg2stan links from that same lqg help page). These are just a few I could find but something in the building of the help files is not working properly. This is on windows 64 bit but I have seen the same issue on Linux 32 bit.

-nsp->help lqg2stan
No man found for topic lqg2stan
-nsp->
-nsp->help lqg
-nsp->help lqr
No man found for topic lqr
-nsp->help h_inf
-nsp->

Hi Saul,
have you tried to make the manual yourself or just used the one provided in the source file ?
configure and make do not build the manual by default and I provide already compiled manual files in the source.
But you can try to compile it

cd man/html ; make
or
   cd man/html/generated ; make  (to see more stuffs in case of problems)

I'll take a look at broken links
thanks for reporting

Hi,
I downloaded the trunk from Jan 23 and did the compilation of nsp. Also did the make in the man/html folders which successfully created the html help system. It does still seem we have the broken links as I reported. For example I cannot find the help for lqr either under the Control Systems or Robust Control toolbox commands. I can find help for plot2d, but not for plot even though I have used plot in NSP etc. Also the help menu on the nsp redirects itself to the download folder rather than the /man folder but I guess thats not a big deal.
By the way what is the nsp equivalent of clc?

Thanks,

Saul

Hi Saul,
As you pointed out some helps are missing (I have added the few ones you cited in your previous post as lqr in the repositpry and corrected some typos in links) because they have not yet been inserted in nsp manuals because the scicoslab manual needs to be adapted.
You can always obtain the associated scicoslab help file using the command
scihelp('command-name') as in
scihelp('ode') you will need internet access.
There's no function for clc (Control-L can do the job).
Regards
jpc
