Just a reminder that we will be having a meeting August 10th from
6-8pm at Hardesty as usual. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Current planned talks:

Joseph Holsten - talking about HTML5 standard, what's new, what's
different and what rocks

Me - Overview of CouchDB and MongoDB which are alternatives to MySQL
or other relational databases. -- thanks to help from Hornbeck on
getting me pumped on nosql based databases and getting me started.

See ya in a couple weeks,
Brad

Likewise. The Consume team of sourceforge.net is using MongoDB a
bunch; they even got a free dinner out of the 10gen folks while we
were at OSCON.
