I don't get the issue with the limiting of 1000 followers a day? I
guess I am missing something in the uproar. I figure that those
developers that need more will have a way to request such and most
likely pay for their additional usage, which seems to make sense since
Twitter is out to someday make money.
Companies such as Twitpic are making money off of the free services
that Twitter currently provides, someday Twitpic and other companies
leveraging Twitter and their API will have to share some of that
profit with Twitter. It's the way business works.
