Hey everybody! Don't forget we are having our first combined meeting this evening at 6:30 at the Tulsa Colab. See you there!

Hey everyone.

I've been chatting with Luke Crouch and Josh Mize about merging the Python, Ruby, and PHP user groups in with TulsaWebDevs.

It makes sense really... I have enough mental bandwidth to present/contribute about quarterly, and have been wanting an excuse to branch out our discussions a bit anyway. Merging these very-related groups will allow us to pool our energies and expand our focus, centered around developing awesome web applications using dynamic tools, and maybe just learn a thing or two.

Our plan right now is to rotate our focus each month to be on a different language. We'll get a schedule up soon.

This mailing list will remain alive for Ruby-focused discussions, but the Facebook group for TulsaWebDevs is where you want to go to stay up to date with the group at large:

The next meeting will be Monday November 15th at the Collaboratorium (111 W. 5th Street Tulsa, OK, 10th floor -- http://tulsacollab.com). Luke will be giving a presentation on Apache Solr.

Hope to see you there!
