Unfortunately, The Collective has closed, so we need a new meeting location. I can host this month's meeting (next Tuesday, the 14th) at my house, but please let me know if you have any ideas for an alternative location. Also, the group website is back up and running on Google App Engine. If anyone would like to help with the site, please reply and I can give you admin access.

I'm sorry to hear it's closed but not surprised. I went to it a few times before I moved to Tucson and I really liked it.

I'll have to look into using GAE for our Tucson python group's website.

Thanks,
Chris

Too bad the collective has closed. It was good while it lasted. I have no problem with meeting at your house. A while back I tried to check on the next meeting and the site was down(was disappointing) I'm glad it's back up now. Bloog looks nice :)

We can maybe add a jquery ajax control to pull tulsa python group rss feed into div?

Too bad about The Collective; I really enjoyed the place. Your house
sounds fine, or we could perhaps find another coffee shop. Kaffe Bona
is good, and many of the locations have wifi. There's one at 91st and
Yale we could use for a meeting place.

All,

I have a friend who's willing to let us use a conference room in his
building (71st and Riverside). Sorry no latte ambiance. Let me know
and I'll confirm.

If not, I vote kaffe bona (91st and Yale).

Nick, thanks for suggesting Kaffe Bona; that sounds like the best option at this point. I've posted the new meeting location to the website.

John, thanks for asking your friend about the conference room, and tell him thanks for the offer. I wouldn't want to ask for it with such late notice, but let's talk about it tomorrow and see if people would like to try that out next month.

Here's the url for the console: http://localhost:8080/_ah/admin/datastore
(port number changes of course)

Thanks again for keeping the meetings going.
