MashupCamp
9am-5pm, Saturday, February 6th, 2010
Oklahoma City Coworking Collaborative

"In web development, a mashup is a web page or application that
combines data or functionality from two or more external sources to
create a new service. The term mashup implies easy, fast integration,
frequently using open APIs and data sources to produce results that
were not the original reason for producing the raw source data."
-- Wikipedia
Yes, much of the Internet is held together with duct tape and
paperclips. Creating mashups is fun and relatively easy for software
developers with even basic skills. MashupCamp is a full day event
where you'll learn about various APIs and then have a chance to mash
them up to create something new. It is an intensely participant-driven
event where attendees share, learn and create in an open environment.
To motivate, we'll also have a mashup showcase and contest at the end
of the day. We have prizes, including a laptop to give away to the
best mashups.
If you would like to attend you must register online -
