The Girls are back in town this January (which is almost only one month away, as my perpetually kidlike brain tends to see things, timewise), and the season-three trailer has just dropped. My first reaction? The more things change, the more they stay the same. Take a look, and then let's review all that the gang has moved on from, and all they're still holding close. Like shirtlessness.
Second reaction? I feel like we're going to get more togetherness this season, which I feel really happy about. More togetherness, less OCD, if this preview's to be believed. Also, I just need to say as an unwilling participant on dozens of hikes, I wish I'd come up with the line "It's really liberating to say no to s--- you hate" years ago. Bravo, Lena.
And the fanfare surrounding the film has reached fever-pitch after the world premiere in LA this week, where mega stars from the most talked-about movie of the year descended on the pink carpet in their droves.
In the first teaser trailer, we got a glimpse of Margot Robbie in a gorgeous pink gingham dress, waving out at a rather Barbie-looking world, as well as in an enviable bathing suit coupled with a rather '80s-inspired curly fringe.
Speaking to Empire magazine, Emma Mackey revealed that all of the Barbies featured in film had a sleepover at the start of filming (sorry but that sounds like the best, most gorgeous sleepover ever) and Mackey was in attendance.
We finally got to see this scene play out in the latest trailer too, as Barbie and Ken skate along Venice Beach's boardwalk and Barbie punches a man in the face who tries to feel her up. Did we mention we love Barbie?
In the images, the 32-year-old actor was seen emerging from her trailer on set wearing a matching hot pink waistcoat and flared trousers with a lace-up crotch and starry details around the calves, plus white pointed stiletto heeled boots which have metallic silver stars on them.
The aesthetic is paired with a pink and white neckerchief, while Margot's platinum hair is worn, like the iconic doll's, long and straight (down to her waist) with a slight '70s-esque flick at the sides.
Potentially the sweetest thread of all time, parents have been filming their young Black daughters watching the new trailer of The Little Mermaid and seeing their reactions as Halle Bailey emerges as the first Black Ariel!
The announcement in 2019 that Halle Bailey would be playing Ariel, was met with lots of racist backlash as people argued that Ariel was white. (She is also a mermaid, which to our knowledge don't exist.. but anyways)
Pablo Berger's dialogue-free film Robot Dreams promises a sweet, heartfelt ride through loneliness and the giddy highs of a new friendship. Even if that friendship has been hand-built from out of a box.
Based on Sara Varon's graphic novel, the animated film follows Dog, a New Yorker who orders a DIY BFF in Robot. As you can see from all the Central Park roller skating, subway turnstile jumping, and hotdog inhaling in the trailer, Manhattan's quite the setting for this unlikely bond.

We at HEA are fanning themselves after getting a look (OK, multiple looks) at the trailer for Lori Foster's Holding Strong, book two in her Ultimate series. And we're happy to share the trailer AND an excerpt with you! Holding Strong arrives at the end of March.
Denver held her as she slept restlessly until bright sunshine shone through the curtains. An hour or so ago, he'd gotten up to cool her down again, to give her meds and get her to drink. He knew she needed time, rest and meds more than anything, and somehow he'd see that she got it.
He hadn't slept much, but then, she was so sick, and he felt so damn guilty, it was a wonder he could relax at all. Thanks to his colossal ego, and yeah, pent-up lust for her, he'd kept her up for hours. That hadn't helped her.
Cherry hadn't stirred. Her badly mussed blond curls spilled out over the pillow. Sunlight cut across her face and even sick and without makeup, she looked beautiful, her skin creamy, her lips full and soft.
At the front desk, he checked out of his own room and extended her stay, explaining that she was sick. There was a good chance that once awake, she'd feel up to the ride home later. But he didn't want her rushed.
