We just installed the new version of Bridge (9.1.0.338) and the first thing we noticed is that when editing, if you delete a file, Bridge no longer auto advances to the next image and if you hit an arrow key, it just jumps you back to the beginning. We tested this on two work stations, and the same issue occurred on the second machine after the update. I searched for a preference but couldn't locate anything. For the moment the workaround is to open batches of images in Camera Raw and then edit there but that seems to inefficient, at best.

I updated my version of bridge last week to 2019 9.0.2.219 when deleting files it often crashes, this can be when I delete a lot of files or just a few. This forces me to Force quit and open bridge again.

As of today ( 14/8) for some reason, when I cancel a batch crop from all images from a vertical image, it cancels all the vertical crops (great), but places a vertical crop through the middle of all my horizontal images...

- KeywordOptimizer copies keywords from dc: subject and lr: hierarchicalSubject, sorts them alphabetically, removes duplicates and blanks, and writes them back into the file. (Both Bridge and Photoshop File Info Basic pane only write keywords to dc: subject and not the lr namespace.)

Installation is easy. Unzip the file. Launch Bridge, open Preferences->Startup Scripts and click the Reveal button. Place the entire Utility Script Pack folder in Bridge Startup Scripts. Remove any older scripts from the original pack, then quit and relaunch Bridge.

I used to Right-click images in Bridge and be given several options under the "Open With". Nowadays I get only one and don't seem to be able to add any more. If I change the default option under Preferences/File Type Associations the "Open With" changes, but only that option is made available. I'm running it on Windows 10, and I no longer have Photoshop installed, as I use Gimp2, for financial reasons. Any ideas, as I often wish to choose quickly which program to view an image in.

What is truly weird is that in previously cached folders, where the PSD files, have previous generated icons that aren't the generic PSD icon, when I select a file in bridge 9.0 the icon converts to a generic PSD icon along with all the other PSD files in that folder ... so its completely ruining previous folder caches that have correctly generated thumbnails and previews.

I tried everything suggested in previous threads ... purging cache, changing preferences in the advanced menu and thumbnail menu, increasing cache and thumbnail generation file size in preferences .. uninstalling and reinstalling previous versions of Bridge app, checked Bridge and Camera Raw plugins etc.... nothing works... and this has been an issue since I updated to the very first version of Bridge 9.0

I had to revert back to Bridge 8.0 .. and in Bridge 8.0 it still works fine ... but when I launched bridge 8.0 an alert box came up that stated with next OS and/or adobe creative cloud update, that the Bridge 8.0 version would not be supported.

I am running Windows 10 with 8 GB memory on a lenovo z70. The photos are on a samsung external HD. I have applied most or all the fixes posted on this forum without success. When I move the photos to the internal HD, I have no problem assigning keywords.

So! After doing a whole lot of file renaming work and general viewing of files via Bridge on the aforementioned NAS unit, I ran a Chronosync job (which I believe is just a custom version of Rsync) and received countless errors as the sync progressed. I eventually ticked an option skipped all additional errors on the job, so that I didn't have to sit there manually skipping each error that came about during the sync.

With that said, I had a look at the sync log after the fact, and found countless instances of ".@__thumb" files and other files that emulate real filenames, but are preceded with "._" - My feeling is that these files are invisible files, given I cannot actually locate them in let's say, Apple Finder.

Can anyone highlight if this could be an issue stemming from my use of Bridge? And of course... if anyone has any idea how to retroactively rid file structures of these files that would be incredible. As of now, Rsync jobs on Chronosync or my NAS itself (QNAP) will read as "failed" because of me having to skip these files, but the jobs are actually successful.

My concern is that going forward, I will not be able to detect more serious issues with files. Usually the job log is a great way to find corruption and other issues, and now it's completely clogged with these .@__thumb files and it's making the detection of more important issues near impossible.

I am color correcting an image in Adobe Bridge. I've tried hitting Done and Saving as a new file, in both cases the changes made in Camera Raw show up in bridge and finder but when I open the image in Preview it appears as it was before the edits were made. How can I make the edits stick?

When in Bridge (9.1.0.0.338) the mouse cursor is very small, almost impossible to see. The size switches back to the system size and color when system windows are displayed, and flickers between both sizes when moving over menu items.

Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature. This appears when the open in camera raw disc is clicked in bridge. any solutions??

For GoPro Hero 7 HEVC H.265 videos, there is no preview and when I attempt double-click to open I get the following error. Looks like it's attempting to open one of the Windows Store apps and it does not have permission. I can play the videos fine outside of bridge by double-clicking which launches the Microsoft Movies & TV store app.

For video that is exported into H.264, I do get the preview and thumbnails, however when I double-click I get the same error show here. I have purged the cache and tried to use Software Rendering in Preferences->Advanced. The file association for .mp4 is set to Video.UI

As I was working, simply browsing through files in Bridge CC (6.1.0.116 x64) I accidentally hit ctl+del and deleted a file. I immediately realized it and hit ctr+z to undo my action, however it did nothing. I went to my tool bar and looked under the edit tab; sure enough, "Undo" was grey and unavailable.

In previous versions of Bridge, in the "Location" bar that gives the file path of the file, I could press the space bar continuously to the end of the given path to see the whole file path. Now, the space bar only scrolls through to the length of the box and does not go all the way to the end of the file path if it is longer than the available box.

I just installed Bridge CC 2019 yesterday on MacOS Sierra. On local and Network drive files, the option to perform an EDIT -> Cut the file is greyed out. Command + X doesn't work either. I can only Copy and Paste. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't work. I tried running Bridge 2018 separarely on my MacOS system, and the file cut function works as is it's supposed to. It also works on my Bridge CC 2019 on Windows 10 system as it should, so this is really limited to my install of Bridge 2019 on my iMac.

I download the files shot on the Sony A6400 camera from a memory card using Adobe Bridge CC Photo Downloader (I will call this the "Downloader" from now on). I check the box "CONVERT TO DNG" before I initiate the download. However, when the files are opened in Adobe Camera RAW and subsequently in Photoshop CC 2019 (latest update) they have not been converted to DNG and remain as an ARW suffixed file.

When I am working in PS CC with a ARW file even if I subsequently save the ARW file to another file format such as JPEG, I cannot access my NIK Software via the Photoshop CC Filter Menu download. (PROBLEM #1)

However, when I download the files from my Sony A6500 camera (also checking the "CONVERT TO DNG" box), The files open in Camera RAW as DNG files. I can then, when I have the DNG files in Photoshop CC, access the NIK software through the Photoshop Filter Drop down Menu.

Yesterday I installed Bridge CC 2019 and when I choose to open moore than 20 images, Bridge freezes and I can't clic on anything. I have to the apple icon and force the programme to exit. I have never had this problem before.

the latest official release of Bridge (v.9.1) breaks my workflow of deleting pictures. When in normal viewing mode, I am editing pictures by scrolling or selecting photos in the content window to review them in the preview window. When deleting a marked/active picture with backspace, the next picture in the content window is automatically selected or marked (with a blue rectangle) and you can go on editing your pictures. That is the behavior in former versions of Adobe Bridge CC 2019 (e.g. v.9.0.3).

Apparently this is a bug and I would like to ask the Bridge Team to fix this issue with an update (I assume this is easy to fix). I would very welcome it and I can imagine a lot of users have the same problem, as the way of deleting or going through your images is the most obvious and easiest way to do it.

Hi, Just downloaded Bridge and I am a newbie to photo's. Can someone suggest how to organize my pics with Bridge. Under pictures (win 10 pc) I have accumulated over 50 sub categories as example shows below and haven't got a clue how to organize these files. Can someone please assist in laymen's terms.

In Bridge 2018, it was possible to adjust the colour theme of Bridge with a slider, so that I could have the window frame and general interface black (which I prefer), but have the background (behind the thumbnails and previews) white, so that I can easily and visually spot any off-whites against the white background of bridge.

It was very flexible in how you could adjust the colour of the different parts of the interface. Now, there seem to be only 4 choices; black, dark grey, mid grey and light grey. Anyone figured out how to change the background colour to white in this version?
