Social Justice Movements and Campaign Finance Reform: A Conversation with Lawrence Lessig
PostScript is proud to announce that Lawrence Lessig--Harvard Law School professor, former presidential candidate, and champion of the campaign finance reform movement--is coming to Tufts!
We will be hosting a discussion on campaign finance reform and its role within the fight for social justice with Professor Lessig on Thursday, December 3rd at the Tufts Interfaith Center (58 Winthrop Street) at 8:00 PM. Lessig will address the important intersection between social movements, activism and campaign finance reform. There will be an opportunity for audience questions so please come prepared! Lessig also speaks often about climate change and the fight for renewable energy as examples of political issues that have been dominated and hindered by corporate money and lobbyists.
