Hey gardeners,
Thanks to all who attended the meeting last night! If you missed it, one of the things we talked about was volunteering with
the cute kidz at the Brown School in Somerville. I finally got a response from Shawn, the garden coordinator!
Unfortunately, this came too late for us to have the necessary forms ready to volunteer tomorrow, so the Brown School bulb planting at 1:15 on Friday is CANCELED. However, good news—he says he is planning another "Bulb Blitz" so we can participate then, and we'll have plenty of opportunities on different days and times throughout the year (so don't worry if you have a Friday class)!
If you want to volunteer at the school at ANY time in the foreseeable future, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:
Fill out this short and sweet form:
http://tinyurl.com/mgg6ae6 and print it out. Next, take a picture of your license to go with it and print that out too.
Then just bring your forms and license pictures to our next meeting on Wednesday, and I will collect them and mail them to Mr. Szturma at the Brown School!
I know these steps are
kind of a pain, but they will be super worth it. Email me with any questions and thanks for showing so much interest in the Brown School!
