Hi Gardeners and Volunteers, 

We will be having our usual meeting tonight at 9pm in Eaton 203 (with DPH pastries of course!).  New faces are always welcome :)

Second, our first meeting about volunteering at the Healy school in late March and April is this Sunday at 5pm in the Campus Center room 203. Volunteers and organizers from the school will be here for this meeting, so I strongly encourage all who are interested to come!

The following is email was sent to my co-president, Kate, and I about a meeting at the Healy school to discuss the garden there.  This is a great opportunity to get involved in the planning of the garden from the ground up!  Kate and I will both be filling out the doodle concerning the meeting (the first doodle in the email).  When you fill out the doodle just put Tufts in parenthesis so Abby, Jen and the other organizers know who you are.

The second doodle is about the dates you are free to volunteer, I would hold off on filling this one out because we will want to go together so we should compare our schedules first and then enter ourselves in as a Tufts group.

It was great meeting you at the Healey School, thank you for helping more students access their school garden!  We're hoping to schedule a Healey Garden group meeting at Healey soon.  Here's the garden meeting doodle link poll:    http://doodle.com/efnwf9iyvw8t2vwa.   If you can't make any of these times we'll make sure to send you updates and meeting notes. 

 

This link below is for anyone wanting to help open the Healey Garden this spring during lunchtime recess or after school.  This will be useful in coordinating for when we most need help.  Volunteers can work in garden solo or partner with another volunteer.  First time I would encourage working with another volunteer.   We can have an on-site tour and share guidelines in March.
