Petition on American Sign Language
- - The Deans have been emailed and we are waiting to hear back from that
- - Proposal will be ready by Monday and will be up on a Google Doc
- - We need to (1) finalise the proposal and (2) find a professor to sponsor it by Friday
Talks
- - Wednesday: Puerto Rican Striker Speaks
- - Thursday: Columbian Speaker
- o Co-sponsored by the Anthropology Department and the Romance Languages Department
- o Flyers are ready
Kiss-in (April 7th, 1pm)
- - Nationalize!
- o Flyer and proposal are finished – available on the Students Occupy Boston Google Group
- o Contact friends in other universities, point-persons in each school
- o Especially people in California because they are organized

Somerville Hearing
- - Tomorrow (4/12) at 6pm, meeting on whether to turn unused boys & girls club into housing
- - People should go!
- - We get to use the “Students and Workers Stand United for Somerville” banner, a Spencer Beswick original
Petition on altering the Residency Requirement
- - Eight semester graduation requirement
- - Aliza’s working on a proposal to abolish the residency requirement and make it so that you need only 34 credits
- - Investigate how best to proceed
- - Decision made to develop contingency plans in case we need them in the future
