Abolishing the Tufts residency requirement

I just got out of a meeting with Dean Herbert and she's actually
really enthusiastic about this proposal. What she told me was that
Dean Barker is apparently forming a new committee for overseeing
issues like this (yay bureaucracy), and that this new committee will
probably be up and running sometime next year. I insisted on putting
it through asap, so she said our best bet is the Curriculum Committee,
and she agreed to sponsor it. Woot!
What we need: To make the Curriculum Committee/chairperson not reject
this outright is to publicize the issue, get students talking about it
a little. I was thinking a couple op-eds for now, and Dean Herbert
seemed to like that idea. Anyone want to jump on that?
