6-7pm WORKSHOP: Queers Against Gentrification!
This workshop focuses on the connections between gentrification in working class communities and communities of color, and issues facing the LGBTQ community. What has the role of white and middle class queer people, students, artists, etc. been in the process of gentrification? Together we'll explore the effects of displacement and find ways to address both heterosexism and the newest form of colonization: gentrification.

8-9pm MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
High energy catchy queer riot-folk-pop-punk for liberation. Music to remind you why you fight for justice, and that you're not the only one! Listen online: www.evangreer.org

"Evan Greer is an eloquent and energetic writer; (s)he reminds me of Phil Ochs."
--Howard Zinn, beloved historian

"Evan Greer continues to write inspiring folk music in the tradition of the great protest singers ... and (s)he's a heck of a guitar player."
--Tom Morello, guitarist of Rage Against the Machine

Evan Greer tours internationally as a songwriter and workshop facilitator and has shared stages with artists as musically diverse as Pete Seeger, Immortal Technique, Pamela Means, Boots Riley / The Coup, State Radio, Holly Near, Against Me!, Emma's Revolution, Citizen Fish, Billy Bragg, Chumbawamba, and Vicci Martinez (of NBC's "The Voice.")
