Hi all,

I was involved in last years MIT Climate Colab and it was a great experience. Just wanted to pass along if you might consider applying.

Best,
Katie

Hi 2013 Fellows,

I’m following up on Rob’s email about joining us again as a 2014 Climate CoLab Fellow.

If you are interested and haven’t responded, please let me know as soon as you can.  We’re actively recruiting for the roles on a first-come, first-served basis and want to make sure there’s an opportunity for you to participate if you’d like to.

Can you think of someone who would make a great Climate CoLab Fellow?  We’d love your recommendations.  Feel free to pass the blurb below to your colleagues and among your networks.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Thank you!

SEEKING: MIT Climate CoLab Fellows

MIT’s Climate CoLab, which crowdsources new ideas to address climate change, is seeking Fellows to oversee its 2014 contests.  Fellows work closely with senior experts, explore deeply issues of interest to them, connect with relevant organizations and interested citizens internationally, and take a leadership position in this fast-growing and innovative project.

We seek graduate students or professionals with expertise in topics related to climate change who can devote 1-2 hours per week over the next 4-6 months. To apply, please submit resume/CV and statement of interest to l...@mit.edu. For more details see http://climatecolab.org/resources/-/wiki/Main/Seeking+Climate+CoLab+Fellows

To 2013 Climate CoLab Fellows,
Thanks to all of your for serving as as Fellows for last year's round of Climate CoLab contests.

We're most grateful for your contributions to the contest and to the CoLab overall.

In part due to your oustanding work, in October we were able to host the Crowds and Climate Conference at MIT, which featured a number of prominent speakers and 28 contest winners.

For those of you who weren't able to attend, the CoLab conference page features highlights of the event at http://climatecolab.org/web/guest/conference2013

We're now working to launch our 2014 round of contests, and we'd like to invite you all to participate again this year as Fellows.

The process will be similar to last year's, except, we hope, better--we've been developing software tools to streamline contest launch and judging.

Laur Fisher, our Community & Partnerships Manager, cc'ed here, will assume more responsibility for overseeing 2014 contests, so if you work with the CoLab again, you'll hear a lot from her.

We hope you can join us in 2014 and very much looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Rob
