Hey TBBC, Check out the below message about an upcoming course offered by a group of synthetic biologists from MIT and UCSC. Best, TBBC Exec Team _______________________________________________________ If you’re excited about the potential of synthetic biology, and are looking to build the skills necessary to create your own project, or start your own company, join the Synthetic Biology Course! In this course, we will teach you the fundamentals of synthetic biology and equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to begin working on your own impactful projects. In this first class you will learn the structure and practical steps involved in creating a synthetic biology project. These will be demonstrated by using real-world examples and case studies. You will also learn how to manage the ethical and regulatory considerations of carrying out your project. Finally, we will discuss existing synbio endeavors and examples of successful synthetic biology startups, including Perfect Day and Modern Meadow. The first class will take place in a webcast on April 15th, 2019. The early-bird rate is $200 if you sign up before March 15th, and $300 afterwards.
