Mental illness has seen steep increase, nearly epidemic proportions, globally. The alarming rise especially in teen and young adult mental illness over the past several years is a rallying call for effective engagement, preventative care and on-going support. The current treatment paradigm of Therapist – Psychiatrists – Prescriptions needs desperate help.
The Lyftly Platform along with the Lyftly App hopes to offer a comprehensive 24/7, round the clock solution to address this need.
By optimally integrating a mental wellness social platform, which includes a community of like-minded, self-help and nation-wide peer support network, complemented by digital behavioral data and artificial intelligence, Lyftly can provide preventative care for all, as well as collaborative care for the ones with moderate illness.

Every summer the Consulting Club at MIT offers the opportunity for students and postdocs to participate in the Volunteer Consulting Group (VCG) program. This is a great chance to work part-time on an interesting real-life business problem from a carefully selected company, to participate in a team project, and to gain valuable consulting experience for yourself and your resume! MIT VCG's Summer 2018 engagement will kick off the week of June 17th, 2018 with an introduction to the client who will provide a brief background of the company, an overview of the business problem and we’ll discuss our objectives for the case.
This year CCM will start the VCG on June 17th for 6 weeks total.
Below are three unrelated (but excellent) opportunities for networking and gaining real world experience.
