Here's a really quick update on what all the branches have been up to in the past couple weeks:
-finalized plans for the Power Shift kickoff in Hotung this Wednesday
-called people who had expressed interest in Power Shift to remind them about the kickoff
-decided to wait to figure out transportation to and lodging at Power Shift until we have a good estimate of the number of people going from Tufts
Tufts Bikes:
Tufts Bikes had a busy week getting everything ready for our grand opening on April 1st! It's shaping up to be an exciting event, with tons of food and prizes donated by local businesses (which will now be even more easily accessible by bike!). The mechanics are working out a schedule of when they'll be holding their open shop hours, when you can come into the bike shop in the craft center to get help working on your own bike. And we're making an informative video that will teach users exactly how to check out bikes from the bike share. Plus, the sun finally came out, so many of us were finally able to get our bikes back out and ride! Keep an eye on the elist, blog, or our new twitter (@TuftsBikes) for spontaneous group rides and fun as soon as we get back from break!
General Collective News:
We got our roundtable coming up on March 29th, where we'll be inviting sustainability leaders from across campus to discuss how to increase coordination and communication among us. Also, we're gonna write a TCU Senate resolution and a letter the Monaco.
Also, we gots ourselves a logo!
Coolio, hope everyone has a fantastic break!
