Hey TSC,

TAP is conducting a survey to further their campaign against bottled water on campus.  It's a really quick, six question survey about your opinions about on-campus bottled water.  Please help out the TAP branch by filling out the survey!

Thanks,
Jason

TAP is in it final preparation stages for speaking to Dining Services about removing bottled water from Hodgdon, targeting the trick-turners. This is an important first step, because even though water bottles will still be available in all other campus retailers, by removing them from Hodgdon we are getting them out of the one place student can get them for meal points. When a student trick-turns, it makes what they are getting seem "free." So for students with this type of unlimited meal plan bottled water is more convenient that tap water because, not only is it prepackaged and readily available, but there is no concrete cost attached!

Dining services has told us the only reason they sell bottles in Hodgdon is because they believe the majority of students prefer bottled water, and they want to sell what students prefer. But with the new filtered water fountains that have been installed in Houston, the Campus Center, and HODGDON, students have easy access to clean filtered water when they are out and about on campus! We also believe that student do NOT prefer bottled water over tap and that they will simply choose what is most convenient, and when there is no water bottles in Hodgdon, this will be Hydration Station water.

Soo... we plan to use THIS SURVEY (http://www.kwiksurveys.com?s=ILHJMJ_f4e5ae4d) to prove this to Dining Services. We want as many response as we can get! please take the survey and send it to as many Tufts students you can!
Here is a link to a Facebook event for it, invite people!!  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=145130115553277
