with references of the form:
Figs. ~\ref{fig:fwfig} and ~\ref{fig:twfig}
in tufte-handout and tufte-book.
Compiling with pdflatex in v3.5 of the tufte class package, the
symbolic reference is just missing in pdf output produced by tufte-
handout and is misnumbered in tufte-book.
References to margin figure environment in both handout and book forms
of the same document seem to work without problems.
There are no obvious error messages from the pdflatex output to
identify this problem. (Admittedly this seems to work in the example
files included in the package but I have been banging my head to see
any differences in the preamble loaded by the samples and my
documents.)
Has anyone else seen this or something like it and is there a fix? Or
should I just keep looking for an error in my own LaTeX source?
