Super cool! How did you manage the lizard escape?

Good Evening T4Bers!
Today the small group visited Garin Park starting at the Carden Lane Gate. The weather was great and its definitely heating up! Highlights (and XXX rated) were two American Kestrels copulating, numerous Red-tailed Hawks, and the usual Anna Hummingbirds, Kinglets, Juncos, Pine Siskins and others. I’ve included in the DropBox folder a nice selection of the Kestrels for raving the male vs female, and their colors.
Some highlight pics are attached and there is a Dropbox folder link below. It’s well worth the effort to look through the DropBox folder if you have the time!

Hilary,
I was wondering if anyone was going to spot or say something about the escaping lizard! On the walk we spotted several lizards so I picked one of the pics that I thought would make a good illusion with some masking and layering in post editing. Its a trick I learned awhile back and every now and then I edit and create something like this escaping lizard!
Thanks for commenting, and as always enjoy!Mike
I always do! But what I was really wondering was what you were
using for software.... Photoshop? If you've figured how to use the
GIMP for that trick, I'd really like to know the details.
(I've been too cheap to get Photoshop when the freebie does so
much, but that kind of polish feels out of reach.)
