Here is this week’s bird word from The Birding Dictionary by Rosemary Mosco, which defines itself as "A tongue-in-cheek guide for people who find themselves obsessed, against all logic and reason, with birds."

Courtship Behaviors aimed at attracting a mate, including singing, dancing, running around, gathering and presenting food, trying to look big, standing somewhere high up and yelling, and generally making oneself look ridiculous. Much like humans, birds also engage in these behaviors.
