The schedule of interview is as given below:

Date: December 04, 2014

Reporting time:  9:00 a.m.

Venue: Engineers India Limited, 1, Bhikaiji Cama Place, New Delhi-66

The interview is subject to the candidate’s fulfilling the eligibility criteria in respect of the post. The eligibility criteria is reiterated as below:

a) Minimum Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.).

b) Batch:  Passed out in 2014

c) Age   : Not more than 25 years (relaxed to 30 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 28 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates) as on 01-07-2014. Upper age limit for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates is relaxable by 5 years. Persons with 40% or more Disabilities shall be eligible for relaxation. For OBC- Non Creamy Layer candidates, reservation will be applicable only to those categories which are mentioned in the Central List of OBCs.

d) Cut-off : Students securing aggregate of 65% marks or more in B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.-Engg. will only be considered. If CGPA/CPI system is followed by University/Institute, the minimum CGPA/CPI should be 7, 6, 5.3, 4.6, 4, 3.3, 2.5 on scale of 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 respectively. In addition, the students should have passed in all subjects.

The shortlisted candidates  attending the interview should send their willingness by return mail and send us filled-in soft copy of the Application Blank (scanned copy), as per format attached with this mail,  to rau...@eil.co.in latest by Nov 27, 2014.

               

The candidates are required to bring the following original mark sheets/ certificates along with the attested photocopies as documentary proof at the time of appearing for the interview:

•             Proof of age ( Xth pass certificate)

•             Educational qualification mark sheets & pass/ degree certificates ( Xth, XIIth/ Diploma and B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engg )

•             Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should bring caste certificate from the competent authority.  OBC certificate produced by OBC candidates should clearly indicate that they do not belong to creamy layer.

•             Those belonging to Persons with Disability (PWD) category must produce PWD certificate from competent authority clearly indicating the type and degree of disability of 40% or more.

In the absence of any of the above documents, we shall not be in a position to allow the candidates for interview and in that case no travel expense shall be reimbursed.

Eligible candidates called for interview shall be reimbursed to and fro 2nd sleeper class rail fare from the PRESENT ADDRESS (as mentioned in Application Blank) to Delhi by the shortest route on production of journey ticket/ticket number and details of travel for return journey.

During the course of verification of documents, at any stage, if it is found that the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria, or has given false information, he/she shall not be interviewed and travel expenses shall not be reimbursed.

During the course of interview, the candidate has the option to answer/explain in Hindi/English.  The candidates may have to stay till 7.30 PM for the interview, hence the candidates should make travel arrangements accordingly.
