Dear Indians in Tuebingen 

We would like to update the mailing list.....
  • Please add any new guys or girls who are here in Tuebingen recently.  If you want to suggest any new people drop me an email.
  • If you are not in Tuebingen and would like to opt out of the mailing kindly let me know. ( We love to have the old guys in of course) 
  • Anyone new here who would like to manage the group kindly lemme know

Dear Friends,
myself praveen kumar and i am from IIT Delhi, india. Recently i got an offer for PhD position in the university of Tuebingen under the supervision of Prof. Oliver Eibl Department of Mathematics and natural science. I need your help because right now i am not getting my apartment in hostel. So please help me out and this email id has been given to me by Zainual Aabdin. He has recently finished his Phd. Please reply me guy's and add in this google group. i am waiting for your response.i will be in tubingen around 3rd november.

Hi,

Add me to this group. I'm new in this city.

I am Rathi Krishnan from India. I have admitted as a PhD student in University of Tubingen (Max Planck Institute for Biological cybernetic) Tubingen, Germany. I am going to work with Prof.Dr. Goran Angelovski, on 23th of March 2014. I'm looking for a single room for rental in a dormitory or in an apartment shared with other students. The moving date is 22th March, 2014.

Please kindly let me know if any available room.

Hi all the new members coming to tubingen,

                                           The accomodation market in tubingen will be very active in the period August to October and March to June because of the start of semester and students coming from various places in and around europe. So, in other words it is very difficult to get a room during these times. Even though you will be registered as a PhD in the university,  the preference for the university hostel is mostly given to masters and bachelor students. But, you can apply at the http://www.my-stuwe.de/cms/86/1/3/cat/onlineapplication.html and check your luck.


You can also try room sharing at this website ( change the language to english and use it ).
http://www.wg-gesucht.de/, try for all the options available (Flatshare, Studi apartment or a flat).


You can also check other websites which mostly advertise flats

Other than that, you can also check in the facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/studittuebingen/ which is a voluntary group by german students to help International students. Also do approach the iSIS and AstA centers
If there are any rooms to be advertised by our Indian friends, they will keep on coming up in this page.

I am Carlson from India. I will come to Max Planck Institute Tübingen to work for 6 months from Dec 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 in order to complete my masters thesis. Since I don't have any fellowship, I am on my own in living expenses. I prefer to have a single room accommodation with food if possible. Also, it would be better if it is close to the institution. Kindly help me if possible with this regard.
