Hi,

I love the quick add window and use this a lot when dumping multiple
tasks into my list. The Parse Tags option works well for me, enabling
me to quickly tag my tasks as I create them and make them Next Actions
as appropriate.

Lately I've started using the quick add function to add single tasks
instead fo using the "CTRL-N" function. The reason for this is that
the Parse Tags feature does not apply to this method of single task
entry.

I suggest that it would be beneficial to add the Parse Tags
functionality to the CTRL-N entry window in addition to the quick add
window. This would make the product more consistent and make it easier
to add single tasks via this method. This functionality could be
enabled from the same (or additonal) checkbox in options.

Does anybody else think this is a good idea?

Regards,

Phil Lewis

Definitely, it laks this possibility to type the tag when we use ctrl
+N ! A better quick add in with several tags support (only one works
for me), and date tags with a different prefix (like !10/01 or !
thisweek or !nextweek ...) would be perfect

So Richard, is this something that can be considered for a future
release please?

Yup, definitely. I also want it. I'll search my mail before I make a
final decision on it (I remember there were some opinions about it
when it was mentioned before) but no reason why not.

Regards,
Richard
